Perhaps sadly for our Museum in Duns (but who knows), both Cortina BJH 417B and Elan 997 NUR are being sold by Fiskens.
The cars came to the 2022 Sir Jackie Stewart Classic in aid of Race Against Dementia and are featured as "For Sale" in the August 2022 Octane Magazine as a 12 page Hero Worship feature by James Page - available in June '22.
As of 19th July 2022, BJH 417B is sold.

Lotus 19 Monte Carlo #953 was entered by owner George Pitt however he let Jim Clark drive (#8) as his Ian Walker Racing Lotus 30 Ford wasn't ready. Jim won the race outright, Bill Stein came 5th in his Lotus 23b and Jackie Stewart DNS in the Ecurie Ecosse Cooper Monaco Climax due to an accident in practice. This is the last car driven by the late Sir Stirling Moss before retiring as a professional.

#4 John Nicholson's heliotrope Lotus XI was later referred to in June as a "flying purple petrol eater". John had a very neatly converted Morris Oxford pickup, with lengthened chassis, into which the Lotus popped very tidily, all painted to match.

Fisher Spyder, the development of Jack's #3 Fisher GT being campaigned at Bo'ness by owner Kenny Baird. Kenny prompted an inclusion of the car's history in the Spring 2020 magazine of the Historic Lotus Register. For the 1971 season this "open" Gropa Spyder bodywork was adopted for what was the Mk III version i.e. the Fisher Spyder. A photograph of the original car at where I now believe to be East Fortune is included in the HLC feature (see later report "Fortunes at East Fortune").
Amazingly the Lotus Fisher GT has surfaced in 2020 and the story can be read HERE.
Here it is seen in 2018 above, and 2019 below. The black and white DKW owned by Tim Bishop is one of two which competed in 2019 at the 60th Anniversary of Jim Clark appearing and beating the 1954 record on 11th July 1959.

Miss Mary Walker, former pupil of Wooler School and Berwick Grammar School,
completed (#183) the 1954 Monte Carlo Rally course without loss of marks.
Mary later had a TR2 which Frank Buglass bought and ran at Leith Fort on 13th April 1957.
Interesting to know if this '64 Scottish Rally Ladies' Award went to the same [Miss] Mary Walker?

I grew up with both parents smoking but thankfully was never dragged into getting hooked myself. I'm still happy to see Gold Leaf, Rothmans etc on the great competition cars which these tobacco companies were able to fund with their wealth, but even more pleased that today these tobacco companies and products have very little appeal.

20th September Gask Sprint
it was reported of the 30th August Gask Sprint that the 1962 B.M.R.C. Handicap Trophy winner (Lotus XI) John Nicholson borrowed a Lotus 7 into which he installed his old Lotus XI Cosworth 1100 motor
For the 1965 season it was reported that John Nicholson had bought from John Millar the ex-Graham Birrell Lotus XI S.2.
For 1966 John Nicholson raced the above Lotus 23B (seen here leading at Ingliston) of which Harry Stiller in 2015 commented was originally Peter Sadler's which Harry sold to Norman Surtees at the end of 1965. Harry Stiller (Racing) operated from Bournemouth. John Nicholson very successfully ran this car in Sports as a Lotus 23B and in GT Class as a Jaynick GT (above with a roof added) up until his fatal road accident in October 1968. Also up to 1968 John also raced this Jaynick Racing Developments Anglia with a 1600c Lotus engine. As you may gather I am naturally very interested in knowing what became of John's Lotus XI S1 & S2, distinctive Lotus 23B Jaynick GT and Anglia cars.

This was the last circuit racing event at Charterhall, from April 1965 the S.M.R.C. ran meetings at Ingliston. In that respect this website runs out of steam if your interest is purely the continuation of (BMRC) SMRC meetings. I include as much as I have for other events and venues on the 1965 1966 1967 1968 and Post 1968 pages.
Iain Nicolson has created a unique comprehensive archive of programmes and race results for Ingliston circuit which I recommend you follow from the LINK below.
